finally back in brunei. =D been looking forward to this for a while now.

the 14hour flight wasnt that bad for me, but the transit period was too short, didnt get to buy what i was supposed to. slept about 12 hours, so i was up bright and early at 6am brunei time this morning. it feels weird to be so fully awake at 10am in nbd while im on summer break. i usually gets out of bed at 12ish.

went to sungailiang’s blue house for fried kuay teow, chilled at home for a bit, had some great laughs, internet’s not that bad (quite fast when im surfing, but download is a totally different business), got to see the kids, nice dinner, didnt have to sleep in the afternoon, get to ‘play’ in the decent rain for a bit, weather aint that bad tho it’s already super hot for me.

not a bad start of my summer break eyyy. (=

7:30pm and im ready to sleeeeeeeep. imma just watch an episode of ncis, so i can wait till 7:53pm. then sleepy time it is.

more fooding tomorrow. eeeeeep. =D

sometimes when i come across documentaries from a few decades ago, i think im born in the wrong decade.

dont get me wrong, i appreciate and LOVE all these creations that we have right now. the internet, the gadgets, the connectivity that we get nowadays, the virtual stuff, the internet, gosh i love the internet.

but the music.

whenever im watching all these oldskool documentaries about all these singers and bands, and see all these video clips. gosh. those were the good times for music. the black and white videos, of simple stage, plain set, and just them singers/band members on it doing their thang. and the whole crowd just singing along.

you can see it in their faces, they dont need explosive sets, and dramatic stages, and superb lightning, or anything like that. they are enjoying the music greatly. because those were good music. it doesnt matter if there’s something wrong with the light, because there is still music, and the music is good. it doesnt matter if there’s something wrong with the backup singers, or the sound systems dont work, because there’s still music, and they are good at singing. and you can see it in the faces of the people in the crowd, how much they are enjoying the music. good music.

parents came to manchester the day after i finished my exams. they spent a night in manchester chilling/cleaning up my apartment, while i packed.

a bit of shopping the next day, the weather was crap, and off we go.

back in norwich for another 2 weeks or so. but my long long (4 months) summer break has begun. =D

i now know why people buy/have teapot at home. this constant filling up kettle, boiling water, and making tea is driving me insane. there must be holes in my cups coz the tea just keep disappearing. grr. i used to think teapot is this angmoh thing, and people buy them to show/decorations. maybe not.

im having a party at mine, me, my books, and my laptop.

3 mugs, 5 water bottles, ribena, daim wrappers, pens, m&ms, grapes, 2 plates, 2 glasses. the number of times i have to get up and make tea. and i get distracted while making tea. so yeah. eeks.

i think i need to buy myself a teapot, and one for coffee maybe. and a coffee machine.

my mom calls this my exam music. because i listen to initialD every time i have exams. i can really study with music on, because i’ll get distracted, but i cant study when it’s too quiet.

after days of unsuccessful revision that ends up with me spending whole night on youtube, i’ll put initialD songs on. and i’ll study properly.

this started when im doing my very first set of AS exams, and it’s still the same right now. i dont do this on purpose. i mean it’s not like oh it’s exam time, i have to listen to iD. it’s more like ooooh i miss iD. i’ll put them osts on then. =D i cant watch it from the very beginning right now, because i dont have my cds with me. and i dont really have that much time to waste. but osts are good enough. ❤ i think these are the only non-chinese/english songs that i listen to, that i love. i dont listen to songs that i cant understand, and cant sing along to you see.

one day, i’ll own ALL of iD soundtracks. one day.

i cant breathe. like physically cant breathe. not some philosophical crap here. i cant breathe and i dont know why. i havent been doing anything any differently today. gah.

i need to start revision properly, i.e. sits on my ass for 10+ hours at one go. like how i did my revision in january. so i went into library today, a bit later than usual (1pm), and it’s PACKED. super full. hello it’s a little bit before 3pm. why is everyone in the library. and why is everyone chatting and catching up with friends in the library. the weather is great outside, well not really, but why dont yall just go outside and chat.

and i cant breathe.

with that many people in the library, it is officially more distracting than my own place. tried and did some work, but i cant breathe, and i cant sing out loud, and i cant not listen to music, and alalskdjflaksfd. so i just came home. and chilled.

hahaha. was craving some garlic bread in the library, so i bought some and toss them in the oven. proper yum. but i kinda burnt my right arm on the baking try stuff. slapped some vaseline on it, but there’s still a bright red line on my arm, and i cant type properly because i have to lift my arm up while typing, and it’s really tiring.

and this is a really useless post. hahaha. okay. i cant possibly slack any more. back to more respiratory diseases. it’s not helping with my breathing problem. ugh

just read eddie my love’s tweet regarding old friends and jollibee and seria. gosh i wanna eat jollibee so bad! gah. i miss jollibee and i miss my old friends so much.

we used to go to jollibee for lunch like twice a week, because we are cool shit like that. we have bio/chem/phys practicals after school and some people dont have enough time to go home to grab lunch and come back to school. so we have lunch in jollibee. we walked to seria town, because back then no one is old enough to drive. owh those walks are too hotshit. few kids in black and white school uniform walking to town to eat lunch. lol.

and how we would go to town because we have nothing better to do, just to eat at jollibee, even though we aint hungry at all. and talk the talk. and just waste our time.

來一個 meal 11, or is it meal 13, or whatever. they keep changing the name of that meal that i love. grr.

albeit the great weather, the shinning sun and the refreshing breeze, we are forced to stay in, to revise. yeeeeep it’s spring.

spring is the time of the year, when people students are forced to stay in hot, smelly, noisy library and try to cram as much information as they can for the upcoming exams. it’s the time of the year when people show off how little sleep they’ve had, and how much coffee they consumed.

it’s the time of the year when the flowers are the prettiest, and when the weather are the best. it aint scorching hot, but it’s not too chilly.

i dont wanna stay in and revise anymore. grrrrrrr
